Develop and maintain Plant Instrumentation Calibration Plan and associated documentation.

Establish guidelines and policies for the collection and documenting of all Plant Instrumentation & Process Control testing throughout Startup into Operation phases.

Work closely with Systemization/Startup, Maintenance, Automation, Engineering & Operations Departments to ensure mutual support.

Readily available to all departments for any requests for technical assistance.

Review, approve and process Calibration Instructions for plant instrumentation. Once successfully reviewed by all applicable departments, enter into the CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System).

Ensured compliance with instrumentation tolerance and set point criteria per contract specifications.

Develop Calibration Instruction and Data Sheet for each plant instrument and submit for evaluation/approval.

Work closely with Systemization/Startup, Maintenance and Automation departments to ensure mutual goals achieved.

This addressed every aspect of the HMI Touch-Screen and PLC’s programming software (Objects, Drives, Protocol, Communications as well as definitions and examples of application).

This also addressed the setup and programming for use with various other types of automation manufacturers (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Modicon, Mitsubishi, ect.).

 

Field Technician/ Electrical Startup Engineering Technician @:

Assemble electrical cabinets, installing (Allen-Bradley or Siemens) PLCs, HMI, motor inverters, transformers, power supplies, burner controls, motor controls and instrumentation process components (for up to 100 motorized control systems) and wired all components together.

Assisted with development and programming of PLCs, HMIs, motor controllers, burner controls, temperature controllers, valve controllers, laser sensors and various other components.

Traveled to customer locations where I assumed the role of Project Manager for equipment installation.

Performed initial start-up, making all required programming adjustments and component calibrations. Following the startup, I developed and wrote operating instructions and trained personnel.
